The Program Is Uploaded!
The ACERE conference program has been scheduled! You can find it here. As you can see, we can look forward to interesting days with a keynote address by the always highly engaging Saras Sarasvathy and paper sessions catering to interest ranging from New Venture Creation to Corporate Entrepreneurship and from Entrepreneurial Finance to Social Entrepreneurship – and far beyond! Social, Psychological, Economic, Strategic, Philosophical, Theoretical as well as International, Gender and Policy perspectives on entrepreneurial phenomena are represented on the program.
We are excited that the ACERE main conference is to be held in newly established $230 million Science and Engineering Centre in the heart of our CBD QUT Gardens Point campus. Participants of the ACERE conference will be the first of many to experience this new construction. ACERE participants will enjoy the stunning views of Brisbane River, Kangaroo Point cliffs and the City Botanic Gardens at the ACERE Awards Dinner to be held at Room Three-Sixty. The ACERE Committee has recently decided on the Best Paper Awards to be presented at the dinner. Worthy winner will receive awards in the following four categories: 1) Best Empirical Paper Using Qualitative Methods; 2) Best Empirical Paper Using Qualitative Methods, 3) Award for Outstanding paper on Small Enterprise Research, and 4) Award for Outstanding paper on International Entrepreneurship.
The Doctoral Consortium and the Paper Development Session immediately before and after the main conference are also taking shape, as per separate communications to the respective delegates. Immediately before the main event we also have the Policy Forum organized by SEEANZ. Meet the Editors is and informal panel session based on Questions & Answers and will run on Thursday afternoon. The panellists are Dean Shepherd, Richard T Harrison, Per Davidsson.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming the 100+ participants in just a few weeks time!
