Venues & Transport

University of Technology Sydney City campus is right next to Central station, the hub of all train lines in Sydney, as well as Railway Square, a major bus interchange.

The most efficient way to get around is either by walking or by public transport.  To catch trains, buses, ferries and light rail in Sydney and surrounding areas you will need an Opal card or Opal single ticket.  If you are taking more than one trip on public transport, using an Opal card is the most convenient and affordable way to pay for your fares.  Simply tap on and off as you go.   Please visit the OPAL site for more information and download the Sydney Visitors Guide, a quick guide to getting started.  You can purchase an Opal card at the train station at the airport when you arrive.

Central Station is a short walk to the UTS Building 11 where the Welcome Reception is to be held, and where the main conference program will be held.   Click here for the google map walk directions

Testimonials

As a first-time participant and a new doctoral student just 6 months in, the conference has been extremely useful for me in terms of my own personal learning and in meeting new, liked-minded individuals. I would definitely encourage more of my friends to apply the conference in the future.
