- The links will be activated from Thursday 11 February and will stay active for a number of weeks following the conference to allow delegates to view in their own time.
- During the two days (11 and 12 February) the presentations will be grouped into 2-hour sessions hosted by our committee members and available via a zoom link where delegates and authors will be able to join a Q&A for that themed session.
Thursday 11 February 2021 & Friday 12 February 2021 – F2F Interactive Program
As we move closer to the conference dates it now seems that it may be possible for some F2F events to be held at Bond University on the Gold Coast.
Professor Martin Obschonka QUT-ACE and Professor Justin Craig Bond U are currently working on developing this program which will be held physically at Bond U on the Gold Coast. These sessions will comprise of workshops on academic career development for early- and mid-career researchers, discussions of emerging research topics and fields, the link between entrepreneurship research, education and practice, and updates on academic publishing and top journals. The F2F event will provide ample opportunity for physical attendees to interact with each other and to get in contact with senior scholars and thought leaders.
- Once registered for the 2021 ACER conference there will be no additional fee for joining the F2F program at Bond University.
- Some light catering will be provided during the F2F session times.
- If and where possible some of these F2F events will be live-streamed and/or recorded. These will be made available to our online delegates via the conference APP
PDS Sessions
The PDS sessions at ACERE are always in high demand and this year is no exception. In 2021 the PDS roundtables will run via zoom links provided to only those who are involved in the PDS sessions. These PDS roundtable zoom meetings will be scheduled over a couple of weeks during February to accommodate the time zones of those involved. They will not be recorded. However, the 20-minute video presentations of each of these papers will be made available to all delegates via the conference APP. Delegates are more than welcome to contact the authors directly if they wish to provide feedback or ask questions.
Organising the PDS sessions does take some time, effort and pre-planning, and again we thank Dr Scott Gordon University of Adelaide, and Dr Frederik von Briel University of Queensland for the excellent work they have done in past years and again for the 2021 PDS sessions.
Authors accepted to the PDS will be notified in due course along with all instructions on when and how to access the zoom roundtable.
